Another great and informative post beauty! I noticed that Sephora just started flagging their cruelty free, free of chemical products on their site. I LOVE that. As I have gotten older I have paid much more attention to what I am putting on my skin and have been trying to avoid chemicals. <3

Thank you lovely! That’s great news regarding Sephora. I think people are so conditioned to expect chemicals in products for their skin, they don’t even think twice. But it’s like not wearing sunscreen…chemicals are damaging, even if people can’t see the damage yet. x

Great informative post. That companies do not have to report these instances to the FDA is frightening and a crime.
One tries to believe that their government will serve as a watch dog, so it is very disappointing to learn. Women (and I guess men) need to think carefully about the products they use.

On a different note, Laura, is it awkward for you to have a man read and comment on your posts?

I would say men and women, because it affects basic toiletries. And a lot of men use face washes and shaving creams etc.

It’s not awkward at all for a man to read and comment. I know a couple of men from Instagram read my posts, but they comment about it on Instagram. I guess my writing is more aimed at women, purely because I am one, and I don’t know if my topics would be appealing to men. 🙂

If enjoy reading your posts. Yeah, many are geared to women, but that doesn’t mean I can’t learn from them. This post made me definitely think about the products I use.
If nothing else I can learn your perspective (and hopefully, better understand women),
        Thank you.

Thank you! I will try to incorporate more posts that are geared at anyone, regardless of gender 🙂
