Neck cream – it’s a beauty item I’ve ignored since turning 18, when leftover income was spent on acne treatment. Despite our necks being one of the first places to show ageing, I like many women, don’t invest in the area.
With so much emphasis on face lotions, masks, serums etc., it’s easy to understand why. Purchasing a separate cream for the neck seems like an unnecessary item. Something extra for us to spend our money on. It’s strange in a way, how we can indulge on liquid concealers, highlighters, bronzers and a dozen eye shadow, yet dislike the need for additional moisturisers.
After noticing crease lines on my neck from staring down at my phone, I decided I wanted to take more action. The brand IMIM Skincare reached out to me to review one of their products. In this post, I discuss my results and overall thoughts on the cream.

Firming and Sculpting Neck Cream

Possibly my favourite skincare packaging review thus far. I love that it’s black and white – simple and elegant. The cream container has a luxurious feel with classic, fancy font. With 50ml of product, the neck cream should last for at least two months.
Texture and scent
This really is a product which lives up to: a little goes a long way. Without feeling oily, greasy or too thick, the cream spreads beautifully and absorbs fast. As I’m use to rich creams taking a while to absorb, I actually reapplied the first time I used because I was taken aback with how well it sinks in. Considering the brand’s natural ethos, it’s not surprising the product doesn’t contain a scent. This is my preference – there isn’t a need for a neck cream to smell of a particular ingredient.
Overall review
Yesterday, I noticed my hands were turning red, cracked and dry. My usual hand cream is struggling to keep up with my over washing (covid protection). As the neck cream is incredibly hydrating, I applied a small amount to my hands and straight away noticed a better improvement.
The crease line on my neck has become fainter – this could be partly due to me now attempting to keep my phone at eye level. Since using the IMIM Firming and Sculpting Neck Cream, my neck has become softer and smoother than my face. I’ve had no issues with redness or irritation (my skin can react badly to certain ingredients).
As our necks are thinner and less oily than other parts of our body (including our face), it makes sense to target the area with a more intense and specialised treatment. I’m happy with present results and look forward to seeing more changes as time goes on.
