When it comes to psychics, Jayne Wallace is one of the most well-known names. Since launching her brand ‘Psychic Sisters’ in Selfridges in 2006, she has performed readings with various celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Charlotte Tilbury and Kate Hudson.
If you fancy a reading in between shopping, Psychic Sisters in Selfridges remains the only place to go. But if travelling to Oxford Street is not feasible, Jayne has launched an incredible range of Psychic Sisters products to shop on the high street.
After quickly selling out on ASOS, everyone from Holland & Barrett, Wholefoods, Pretty Little Thing to Superdrug have asked for Jayne’s wellness range.
It was at ‘Superdrug Presents’ Press Day where I met Jayne and was lucky enough to have a mini reading with Psychic Sister, Shiona. Warm and approachable, Jayne discussed her story during a masterclass and explained the importance of energy.
To learn more about how energy and vibrations can impact our lives, particularly around love, I interviewed Jayne on how to manifest love, and if a psychic reading can help singletons searching for the one.
How a psychic reading can help you find love
If you are single and searching for a partner, a psychic reading has many benefits. ‘I think it opens your mind up to different things. It helps you to break patterns, it helps you to focus on what you want, how to manifest love and how to put it out there to the universe’, Jayne says.
While some people opt to go to a psychic reading for clarity around a problem, not everyone is necessarily searching for something. At Psychic Sisters, they use a combination of tools such as tarot and crystal to help connect to your energy.
The connection between energy and finding a partner
I’m a firm believer that our thoughts and attitude can impact our actions and what we bring into our lives. I was glad to know Jayne agrees.
We discussed how modern dating can lead to frustration and negative thoughts. When I was single, I found myself becoming a pessimist because of all the failed dates and lost hope. To improve your chances and experience around love, Jayne believes it’s about changing your mindset and staying positive.
‘We sometimes say I’m too fat or I’m not good enough. You’ve got to love yourself and believe in yourself. I think it’s how you portray you. When you don’t care, you get whatever you want. Don’t think it’s about the way you look or the way you are, sometimes it’s about your energy and your attitude about yourself. If you always say I’m never going to get it, we both know you won’t get it’, Jayne says.
To help manifest love, Jayne shares the following techniques:
Stay positive: ‘It’s always “I am” Put yourself in that position and send it out there. So even if you wake up in the morning and you wake up feeling unhappy, change it to “I am happy, I am going to have a good day.”
Use visualisation: Whatever it is you want, say to yourself already that ‘I have it’ and ‘I’m in that place’. Jayne uses the example of if you wanted a baby, visualise yourself holding a baby in your arms. Or if you want a partner, visualise yourself getting married or being with your ideal person. Putting mini crystals in your bra is a tip Jayne shares to help with manifesting.
Trust your gut: ‘We’ve all got that little bit of intuition, that little bit of spark inside of us. That witchy side where it’s like, don’t do this… do this.’ Just think, is this the right thing? Listen to that vibe, listen to your body and ask how do you feel?’
Take an inner pause: ‘Centre yourself, breathe and just ask, should I go left or should I go right rather than just impulsively jumping into things. Give yourself five seconds to breathe’.
Overall, trust your inner voice: ‘Listen to your inner voice more and trust you’re in the right position. I think trust is always important. We worry too much about what people think and feel about us – I always say don’t really care what other people think or say… it’s just knowing that you’re doing the right thing’, says Jayne.
Psychic Sisters Wellness
While doing readings, Jayne started to offer clients products to help with their problems.
‘I’ve always loved making things, I call it brewing. I love making oils, candles, soaps, and all of that. Pre Selfridges, I used to make candles and stuff for wholesalers. I started making the oil mists, they were the first things I made’, she says.
If you have an interest in spirituality, you probably know how difficult it can be to find spiritual products on the high street. I used to travel up to London just to purchase crystals. With the Psychic Sisters recently launching in Superdrug, you can now purchase everything from a sage stick to an energy wand and mini candle without going to a specialist shop.
The products are all handmade and have different benefits. The Love collection, for instance, (Jayne’s favourite) features a love mist which can promote feelings of empowerment and passion. Spritz it while chanting the affirmation, ‘I am loved and happy’ to help bring peace of mind.
After featuring on Dragon’s Den, the products are now backed by Sara Davies and Deborah Meaden. With the growing trend of manifestation, mindfulness and spirituality overall, Jayne has met the demand for products that can help guide intuition and bring that sense of calm.
